We, the Officials and people
of the Province of Misamis Occidental strongly express our strong
support to Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
We condemn whatever exercise of
futility whose sole desire is to grab power.
The people of Misamis Occidental
will not in any way recognize those who will take over Malacaņang by
force and outside the framework of the Constitution.
We strongly believe that the
attainment of national peace and development can't be attained by any
forceful actions like street rallies and political bickering.
We therefore unanimously extend
our call to all the Filipinos to be calmed and to be united in prayers
for lasting peace and prosperity.
