Gordon
donates P2M for MOAP bunkers’ hotel
Coursed through the office of our good Governor Loreto
Leo Ocampos, senatorial aspirant and former Tourism Sectary Richard
“Dick” Gordon, has given close to P2M worth of grants for
a hotel to be built at the Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park (MOAP)
in Sinacaban Town.
The construction of the bunkers’ hotel is already underway and
is expected to be finished, and ready for occupancy by the middle of
this year. Gordon pledged the funding during a visit to this province
last year.
With the hotel finished, it could accommodate 45 persons in four (4)
specially designed and furnished rooms. The MOAP will now be equipped
with this hotel, and will now be able to house a small-group people
attending a conference who wish to stay overnight. “This is a
very good development because the Aquamarine Park’s capacity and
capability is increased,” Governor Ocampos said, echoing the updates
by Park Superintendent Jose “Boy” Satore.
Meanwhile, 2nd District Congresswoman Herminia Ramiro has also funded
a Function Hall being built in the Park. This Function Hall will add
to the seating capacity and augment the amenities that the Aquamarine
Park offers to the public.
With these new additions, the Park will now be able to cater to a wider
reach, with its restaurant, hotels and guesthouses, and the function
hall. A better service by the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental.
