MOEDRC
trains farmers into entrepreneurs
The
province is still predominantly agricultural, and the role being played
by the farmers in our daily lives is very vital. The Provincial Government
of Misamis Occidental through its hard working Governor Loreto Leo Ocampos
has recognized this fact.
This is one of the cornerstones of the establishment of the Misamis
Occidental Enterprise Development and Research Center
or MOEDRC. The Research Center aims to
equip our farmers with new techniques in
farming, and giving them the needed assistance in agricultural
production.
“In our province, life of small farmers and local residents has
been improved by the Research Center,” Gov. Leo Ocampos said.
It is the Research Center’s main aim to transform and educated
small farmers into ENTREPRENEURS through the dispersal of seedlings
of fruit bearing trees and trees for lumber.
