Gov’t opens Function Hall
The Province of Misamis Occidental now has its own function
hall that can be used for various purposes. This multi-purpose hall
has been operational a year after Governor Loreto Leo Ocampos assumed
office in 2001.
Located at the back of the Capitol Building, the Function Hall has been
venue to conferences, meetings, workshops, and a lot more. Activities
that have been held in the Function Hall include province-sponsored
meetings, regional agencies’ meetings and gatherings. The Regional
Development Council 10, chaired by our beloved Gov. Ocampos, has held
a meeting in the function hall, with no less than the President of the
Republic as its guest.
The Function Hall is well equipped with equipment and facilities to
cater to the needs of government-sponsored activities, and other socio-civic
gatherings and meetings. It is complete with White Boards for lectures,
projectors, purified drinking water dispenser, world-class comfort rooms,
among others. It is open to any person, agency, or entity for official
use only, though its use is not free. Reservations, and requests for
use of the Function Hall should be coursed through the Provincial Governors
Office at the Capitol, Oroquieta City.
