CDH gears for providing good health services to Misamisnons

A tie-up between the Provincial Government, headed by our beloved Governor Loreto Leo Ocampos, and the Calamba District Hospital (CDH) administrators paved the way to the rehabilitation, repair, and improvement of the said Hospital.

This development is in response to the pressing health problems in the province. The CDH had its main building renovated, and two new buildings had been completed towards the middle of last year. Aside from these new additions, the hospital has also equipped itself with competent doctors and has acquired new technologies, for diagnosing and eventually treating diseases.

These new facilities and equipment are the anesthesia machine, a portable X-ray machine, and ECG Machine, and laboratory equipments like a nebulizer and centrifuge machines, and an additional 30 more beds. Most of these additions were either donated or consummated during the visit of US-based Filipino West Virginia doctors who visited the Province last July in a Medical Mission.

“Health is indispensable to everybody. It is one of the vital components in attaining peace and development,” Gov. Ocampos said. The renovation of the CDH comes with the program of the Ocampos Administration’s program of uplifting the health standards of the province. This development with the CDH is a clear example that our Provincial Government is meeting the health needs of Misamisnons. In addition, the CDH has already instituted a workable, integrated, and comprehensive health delivery system.

To giver more convenience to its patients, the CDH is not equipped with a conference room in one of its new buildings, a stock room, and an isolation room. A new medical-pediatric ward, and male doctors quarters are now fully functional.

With the unified effort of the Provincial Government officials and the local doctors of CDH together with the support of the people, CDH will surely sustain its efficient services, thereby, providing quality basic health services to Misamisnons.
