Ocampos provides transportation means for employees
Provincial Government employees are now enjoying a bus
ride to their offices and from their houses. This is a program for the
employees by the Provincial Governor Loreto Leo Ocampos.
The Provincial Government has allocated four (4) buses for this shuttle
services. Employees will be picked up from Calamba town to the Provincial
Capitol, and Ozamiz City, in front of the Governor’s Extension
Office, to the Capitol.
Maximum fare is pegged at P10 from Capitol to Ozamiz, also the same
fare is charged from the Capitol to Calamba. This rate is very cheap
compared to the normal commercial transportation fare, which is P30
from Oroquieta City to Ozamiz City.
One of the major issues that the shuttle bus passengers are very happy
about is the security they are enjoying because of the shuttle service.
They say that aside from the comfort, and cheapness of the shuttle service,
their security is assured because is already waiting for them when they
get out of work in the afternoon.
“It’s more than just a shuttle bus, it’s a blessing
indeed,” relates one of the Capitol Shuttle Bus regular passengers.
