This
team of US-based Filipino doctors and medical practitioners was headed
by Dr. Ho from West Virginia. This Medical Mission activity was in
coordination with the local doctors of our province, which ensured
the conduct of the Medical Surgical Mission at the Calamba District
Hospital.
There were some cases that needed minor and major operational procedures
from the visiting doctors; these included the removal of cyst, Cheiloplasty,
Cataract, Thyroidectomy, and Pterydium. Other medical cases which
were also given due attention were Arthritis, Pneumonia, skin problems,
and Urinary Tract Infection or UTI.
The medical mission was able to treat and accommodated more than 1,000

from performing surgeries and other medical procedures, the West Virginia

and medicines for the said mission.
