The
Versatile Function Hall

It was just last year that the construction of the Function Hall was
completed but it has already served quite many occasions. Located at
the back of the Capitol Building, the Function Hall has been the venue
to conferences, meetings, workshops, and a lot more. These activities
are not only province-sponsored, but a lot of regional agencies have
chosen to hold gatherings at the said Hall. Once, the Regional Development
Council of Region 10 and a cabinet meeting were held in the Function
Hall which was attended by no less than the President herself, Her Excellency
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
The Function Hall is equipped with facilities to cater to the needs
of government-sponsored activities. Requests for its use should be in
written form addressed to the Office of the Governor. The use of the
hall is not free though. For its maintenance, the use of the Hall is
guided by the following regulations;
1. The Provincial Function Hall of the Provincial Government of Misamis
Occidental shall be made available by any person, agency or entity for
official use only for a consideration or charge.
2. The specific purpose for the official use of the said venue shall
be disclosed by the person/agency/entity to the Provincial Governor
or his duly authorized representative, who shall signify his consent
thereto.
3. Please note that an excess of a fraction of an hour shall be considered
a full hour.
4. The Provincial Government shall have the right to deny/refuse any
person/entity or any interested user of the function Hall for reasons
the Provincial Governor or his duly authorized representative deems
justifiable.
5. All requests should be made in writing and addressed to the Provincial
Governor.
6. Use of Function hall facilities should be guided by the following
conditions;
a. White boards are ready for use; however entities using the hall are
encouraged to bring their own markers. The use of permanent markers
is not allowed.
b. Purified drinking water is available to participants of the official
activities at the Provincial Function Hall. However, the person/entity/agency
shall reimburse the equivalent amount to the volume of purified water
consumed. Reimbursement maybe in cash payable to the Provincial Government
and/or actual replacement of the purified water (of the same kind) maybe
made to the Office of the Provincial Governor.
c. Caterers during the said activities should provide their own eating
and kitchen utensils.
d. Participants can use the comfort rooms at the said Venue taking into
consideration that they observe cleanliness & orderliness.
e. Only the authorized sound technicians of the Function Hall shall
be permitted to operate the sound system.
f. All damaged equipment/facility/property of the Function Hall by the
user shall be charged accordingly.
7. All these regulations have been approved by the Provincial Government
and its duly authorized representatives.
