It is practically
unbelievable for a hardened criminal like Manos to raise a Four Hundred
Twelve Thousand Pesos (P 412,000.00) cash bail bond unless it is funded
by a group of allies whose source of money is suspicious, Ocampos
said.
It is so disgusting
to see a hardened criminal who hardly sinned against the state given
a chance of temporary liberty just because he was able to raise funds
through the support of questionable sources, Ocampos added.
As the Governor
of the province who takes responsibility on the security and safety
of the Misamisnons, Ocampos wants to take a court investigation on
those people who contributed to the funds used as cash bail bond for
Manos and let these people explain.
Ocampos vows to
exhaust all means to prevent Manos from being released in prison.
Ocampos believes that key witnesses were being intimidated/harassed
or otherwise threatened to desist from testifying.
